In 2008, the Association of Small Banana Producers El Guabo (APPBG) is and will be the world leader in banana exports in the fair trade market, controlling logistics; diversifying its range with other tropical products, being a model of socio-business organization with participation in national agricultural policy decisions.

We are an organization of Small Ecuadorian Banana Producers dedicated to satisfying the demands of our clients with high quality, protected by the fair trade system, seeking to improve the conditions of the partners and the improvement of our environment in social, environmental and labor terms.
The Association of Small Banana Producers El Guabo ASOGUABO provides the best tropical fruit to international markets, through articulated compliance with globally recognized standards in terms of good agricultural practices, fair trade and cargo safety. ASOGUABO, is committed through this control and security management policy to maintain the integrity of its processes, prevent crimes of corruption, bribery, money laundering and other related matters that affect the institutionality of our association. Contributing to the economic development of the country by promoting compliance with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our sector, tools and methods for the care and security of information and the continuous improvement of our SGCS BASC.
